Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F) (Chapter 1) is an upcoming Indian Kannada language film. It is being dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Chinese and Japanese.

Story

KGF movie deals with mother and son relationship. The movie appears to be set in the backdrop of 1978 while the initial proceeding of the birth of the protagonist happening in 1951.

Yash elopes to the erstwhile Bombay in 1951 and would form to be a tough young man in 1978. The plot of the movie might focus on slavery and domination of certain cadre of people against the poor and downtrodden. The protagonist will ascertain the scene, understand the proceedings and then would stand against the evil to protect the good.

The Kannada film industry can have a game-changer in forthcoming film KGF, a story about the bloodthirsty gangsters of Mumbai and Karnataka’s Kolar goldmines. The first trailer of the film was released amidst much fanfare in Bengaluru.

The film features Yash as Rocky, who learns his life-lessons the hard way on the streets of Mumbai where he begins his career as a shoeshine. Slowly and steadily, he rises in the world of crime. His life takes a turn when reaches Kolar where he is up against the local mobsters.

Yash Movie Going To Clash with SRK Biggest Clash Till Now 

At the trailer launch of KGF (or Kolar Gold Fields) that happened last Friday on the birth anniversary of Sandalwood filmmaker Shankar Nagarakatte, the film’s hero Yash revealed that it will hit the marquee on December 21. Incidentally, Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero is also scheduled for release on the same day but Yash seems to be undeterred by this.

Hindustan Times reported that after the trailer was released, the film got a lot of love from the audience, with many intrigued by the period setting of the film and its subject.
